I’m Pouya Mahmoudi, have been working in yoga field since 2010 as a tutor.
I’ve started doing yoga professionally in India and during 2013 and 2016 I upgraded my Yoga Alliance degreee and certification.
As I’ve experienced and believe in the benefits of learning Yoga on mental and physical health, and, generally its impact on having a better lifestyle, I decided to develop yoga for more yoga enthusiasts which lead me to found the “Yogiler” site.
“Yogiler” is a Turkish term which means Yogis.
Let me introduce Yoga to you briefly first.
Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in ancient India, aimed at controlling and stilling the mind, and recognizing the detached ‘witness-consciousness’ as untouched by the activities of the mind and mundane suffering.
Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind and have a general positive impact on your daily life by practicing on your breath and body, so yoga is a life style itself.
